I'm Stefan Flaschko, a freelance web developer with FoxWebcraft. I build websites, web apps and apps for iOS and Android, from the front end and back end through to running them on my own Linux servers.
After training as an IT specialist at BASF IT Services, I worked in IT support for several years, later studied horticulture and supervised scientific experiments. I have been working in web development since 2020, and as a freelancer since 2025.
From my IT training I bring an understanding of networks, servers and IT operations. My studies and my work with scientific experiments gave me a structured, thorough way of working. Both help me plan projects realistically and deliver them cleanly.

My goal as a freelancer is to deliver a high-quality product and to do so as efficiently as possible. In my work, I rely on innovative and sophisticated tools. On the one hand, this ensures that the websites and apps I create are future-proof and easy to expand, and on the other hand, I have a passion for innovative web technologies.
The fascinating thing about web development for me is the interplay between design and programming. I particularly enjoy the creative process of turning lines of code into something functional that ultimately offers users added value.
My aim is to constantly improve my skills as a programmer and to create a design that is as appealing as possible.
I use AI as a tool throughout the development process. It takes over repetitive tasks and helps with research and prototyping.
This means projects can be completed sooner, and even large projects can be realized with significantly fewer resources.
AI also serves as an additional check to detect bugs and special cases, so the code ends up cleaner, more consistent and easier to maintain.
I always review the final result myself and take responsibility for it.
Websites, web apps and apps for iOS and Android for clients and for my own products such as Hostcraft and the Crypto Tax Tool. Based in Trogir, Croatia since February 2026.
Web and app development with Vue, Nuxt, Ionic and Capacitor, plus WordPress projects. Among other things, development of the research app MART for Freie Universität Berlin. Started with an internship in March 2020.
Supervising and evaluating scientific experiments.
When I'm not busy coding, you can find me on the saddle of one of my various bikes. I also enjoy traveling and have a passion for water sports such as swimming, surfing and snorkeling.
Since early 2026 I have been living and working in Croatia. I have always wanted to live by the sea, and the conditions for self-employment in Croatia are very favourable.
Stefan developed a sales app with AI integration for me, and I am completely satisfied with the result.
What I particularly appreciated about working with him: Stefan works in a very structured, realistic and solution-oriented way. No empty promises, but clear assessments, comprehensible planning and an implementation that really holds up. […]
That is why I can recommend Stefan without reservation! For anyone looking not just for a developer, but for a real partner for their digital idea.
Stefan implemented our own website exactly to our specifications. He was very reliable and always friendly throughout all communication. His commitment to realising complex and challenging requests and finding solutions for them deserves special mention.
He always kept to the timings. The handover of the website also went smoothly. We can recommend Stefan and would work with him again.
